Description
The Fluke 114 is a true-RMS digital multimeter aimed at electricians doing go/no-go voltage testing. Its AutoVolt function selects AC or DC automatically based on the signal at the leads, and a low-impedance (LoZ) mode helps separate real voltage from ghost voltage induced on unused wiring. It also checks resistance, continuity and frequency on a 6000-count display. The meter is sized for one-handed use and has a white LED backlight for dim panels and crawl spaces.
Key features
- AutoVolt automatic AC/DC voltage selection
- LoZ mode to identify ghost voltage
- True-RMS voltage readings with 6000-count resolution
- Resistance, continuity and frequency
- Min/Max/Average recording
- Large white LED backlight
Typical applications
- Verifying voltage at outlets, switches and panels
- Residential and commercial electrical installation
- Troubleshooting where ghost voltage may cause false readings
- Continuity checks on wiring and fuses
