These Terms & Conditions apply to every quote, order and purchase made through multimeterasia.com (“the website”), operated by Ritha Manullang, comp, trading as Multimeter Asia (“we”, “us”, “our”). By requesting a quote, placing an order or using the website, you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Shipping Information, Returns Information and Privacy Policy, which form part of these terms.
1. Products and information
- We supply test, measurement and calibration instruments from third-party manufacturers. Product names, model numbers and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
- Descriptions and specifications are provided in good faith from manufacturer information. Manufacturers may change designs, specifications, accessories or packaging without notice. If a detail is critical to your application, please confirm it with us before ordering.
- Product images are for illustration and may show optional accessories or a different configuration from the model ordered.
- When a model has been discontinued, we will tell you before processing the order and, where possible, offer a suitable replacement.
2. Prices and quotes
- Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude import duties, local taxes and customs fees unless stated otherwise.
- Prices and availability may change without notice. If a product is listed at an incorrect price because of an error, we will contact you before shipping and you may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
- A written quote is valid for the period stated on the quote. Quotes are based on the quantities, configuration and destination given in your request.
3. Orders and acceptance
- Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm the order in writing (for example by email) or ship the goods.
- We may decline or cancel an order, for example when a product is unavailable, information provided is incomplete, or the shipment would not comply with applicable law. If we cancel an order that has been paid, we refund the full amount paid.
- Please check model numbers, options, power and voltage requirements and quantities carefully before ordering. Changes after shipment are handled under our Returns Information.
4. Payment
- Payment is made by bank transfer unless another method is agreed in writing. Payment details are provided on the order confirmation or invoice.
- Orders are processed once full payment has been received, unless other payment terms have been agreed in writing.
- Bank charges on the sender’s side are the responsibility of the buyer.
5. Shipping and delivery
- Delivery options, times and costs are described in our Shipping Information. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed, particularly for international shipments and items that must be ordered from the manufacturer.
- For international orders, the recipient is responsible for import duties, taxes and customs clearance unless agreed otherwise.
- Please inspect your shipment on arrival and report any visible damage or missing items to us as soon as possible, with photos of the item and packaging.
6. Export compliance
Some instruments are subject to export control and sanctions laws. You agree not to export, re-export or transfer any product in breach of applicable laws, and to provide end-use or end-user information when we request it. We may refuse or cancel any order that we believe would breach these laws.
7. Returns
Returns, exchanges and refunds are handled as described in our Returns Information. Please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before sending any item back.
8. Warranty
- New products are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty terms and periods are set by each manufacturer.
- If a product develops a fault during the warranty period, contact us and we will help you with the manufacturer’s warranty process.
- Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper installation, unauthorized modification or normal wear.
9. Calibration certificates
Calibration certificates, including accredited certificates, are supplied only when stated in the product description, the quote or the order confirmation. If you need a specific type of certificate, please state it when requesting a quote.
10. Safe use
Many instruments are designed for use on electrical, pressurized or hazardous systems. Products must be used only by qualified persons, within their rated limits and in line with the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable safety standards.
11. Limitation of liability
- To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount paid for the product concerned.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, production, data or business, arising from the purchase or use of products.
- Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Website content
The content of this website, including text and layout, is owned by or licensed to Ritha Manullang, comp (Multimeter Asia) and may not be copied for commercial use without our permission. Manufacturer names, logos and product images remain the property of their owners.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ritha Manullang, comp is registered. We will always try to resolve any concern directly with you first, so please contact us if a problem arises.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
