Description
The Vitrek 983i is a benchtop insulation resistance tester built for automated production and laboratory testing. It applies high DC test voltages and measures resistance up to 150 TΩ, which covers cables, insulating materials and high-voltage components. Fast output control with dwell times as short as 100 ms keeps throughput high, and multi-dwell sequences let the voltage step between levels without returning to zero, which helps in dielectric analysis. Ethernet, RS-232, digital I/O and scanner control come standard for integration into test systems.
