Description
The Tektronix RSA518A is a portable USB spectrum analyzer from the RSA500A series that covers 9 kHz to 18 GHz. It has no built-in screen; it connects to a PC or tablet running SignalVu-PC software, which handles display, DPX real-time spectrum and analysis. Real-time bandwidth is 40 MHz. Option 04 adds a tracking generator for cable, antenna and filter measurements. The rugged, battery-capable housing suits field work, so spectrum managers, RF technicians and installers use it for interference hunting and transmitter checks.
