Description
The Baker DX COIL TESTER PPI 12 is the 12 kV version of the DX coil tester, fitted with a power pack interface board. The PPI board lets it control a Baker external power pack for higher test voltages. The Megger Baker DX Coil Tester is a configuration of the Baker DX static tester aimed at coils and windings. It combines high voltage DC insulation tests with surge testing, so turn-to-turn and coil-to-coil weaknesses can be found together with ground wall insulation problems. Results appear on a touch screen with graphical waveforms. Coil manufacturers, motor rewind shops and maintenance teams use it for incoming inspection, production testing and repair checks.
