Description
The C-PT is a matched pair of high-efficiency clamp-on transducers for Panametrics ultrasonic flowmeters. Panametrics clamp-on ultrasonic transducers mount on the outside of a pipe and send ultrasonic pulses through the pipe wall to a matching flowmeter. The meter measures the difference in transit time between pulses traveling with and against the flow to calculate velocity and volumetric flow. Because nothing enters the pipe, there is no pressure drop, no leak path and no process shutdown for installation. Plant engineers, energy auditors and service technicians use these transducers with Panametrics fixed and portable flowmeters.
