Description
The SX2-B belongs to the Dwyer SX2 detector series, designed for fixed installation with UXF1 and UXF3 ultrasonic converters. Dwyer ultrasonic flowmeter detectors are clamp-on sensors that mount on the outside of a pipe and work with a matching Dwyer converter. Two sensors send ultrasonic pulses to each other with and against the flow, and the difference in transit time is used to calculate flow velocity and rate. Because nothing enters the pipe, there is no pressure drop, no leak path and no need to shut down the line to install.
