Description
Order code 72-2120-103 is a configuration of the RKI Digester Gas Monitor, identified by suffix -103. The RKI Digester Gas Monitor is a fixed sampling system built for the wet, corrosive gas produced in anaerobic digesters. It draws a sample through dirt, dust and moisture filters, measures it with up to four sensors and then backflushes the sampling path with fresh air at the end of each cycle. Wastewater treatment plants and biogas operators use it to track methane, carbon dioxide, oxygen and hydrogen sulfide in digester gas.
Key features
- Sample system designed for corrosive, high-humidity gas with high H2S levels
- Automatic backflush of the sampling system after each cycle
- Self-draining moisture trap and multi-stage filtration
- Air aspirator with no moving parts
- Adjustable alarm levels and programmable alarm relays for each gas
- Selectable measurement cycle time
Typical applications
- Anaerobic digester gas monitoring at wastewater treatment plants
- Biogas and landfill gas quality checks
- Process control of methane and CO2 content
- H2S monitoring ahead of gas handling equipment
