Description
The T560-42-EST combines the T560-EST screening configuration with a 42° wide-angle lens. The wider 42° field of view suits shorter screening distances. The FLIR T560-EST is a version of the T560 handheld thermal camera configured for elevated skin temperature screening. It measures skin surface temperature at the inner corner of the eye and compares each reading with a running average of recently screened people, raising an alarm when a person reads above the set threshold. Facility operators use it as a first-line screening tool at entrances, with flagged individuals referred for a secondary check with a clinical thermometer.
