Description
The PK2-1500CM-SS uses range code 1500CM, calibrated in centimeters of water, with stainless steel weights (SS). The Ametek M&G PK II is a pneumatic deadweight pressure standard that uses the floating ball principle. A ceramic ball floats in a precision nozzle under a known weight load, and the instrument regulates its own output pressure from a clean gas supply, so the operator does not need to balance a piston by hand. Weights hang from an overhung carrier under a closed cover. Calibration labs and gas utilities use it as a reference for low-pressure gauges, transmitters and secondary standards.
