Description
The LB-24/48-500/DAC is rated for 24/48 V battery systems at 500 A, with the system voltage selectable. The DAC suffix adds wireless data acquisition for monitoring cell voltages on a PC during discharge. Eagle Eye LB series load banks are portable DC discharge testers used to measure the real capacity of stationary battery strings. The unit draws a controlled current from the battery through PTC ceramic resistors while logging voltage and discharged capacity, then stops automatically at a preset limit. Results transfer by USB to the DataView software for analysis and reports. Models with the DAC suffix add wireless cell-voltage acquisition. Users include utilities, telecom operators, data centers and UPS service teams.
Key features
- PTC ceramic resistors for safe discharge
- Four auto shut-down settings: time, capacity, cell cut-off voltage and total cut-off voltage
- Parallel connection of two units for higher currents
- Thermal cut-off and overload protection
- AC and DC power supply modes
- USB data transfer and DataView analysis software
Typical applications
- Battery capacity and acceptance testing
- Discharge testing of UPS and telecom batteries
- Substation and utility battery maintenance
- Data center backup power verification
