Description
The Dranetz HDPQ Xplorer 400 is a portable power quality analyzer aimed at engineers who need to capture fast transients as well as long-term PQ, demand and energy data. It has four differential AC/DC voltage inputs and four AC/DC current inputs, and this package adds flexible current probes with 60, 600 and 6000 A ranges. Recording complies with IEC 61000-4-30 Class A, and the unit can be set up and reviewed from a phone or tablet over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or Ethernet, keeping the operator away from live panels.
Key features
- Four differential voltage and four current channels, AC/DC
- High-speed transient capture for cycle-to-cycle disturbance analysis
- IEC 61000-4-30 Class A; supports IEEE 1159, 519, 1453 and 1459 evaluations
- Answer Modules that help identify PQ problems and their likely source
- 10,000-cycle buffer for fault and inrush recording
- Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB with mobile app control
Typical applications
- Troubleshooting sags, swells, transients and harmonics
- Utility and facility power quality compliance surveys
- Inrush and motor starting studies
- Energy and demand studies for load planning
