Description
The AM1730-9 combines a 9 inch Inconel sheath with a -200 °C to 420 °C range, suited to shallower wells and baths. AccuMac secondary reference PRTs are platinum resistance thermometers designed as working standards for temperature calibration. A strain-reduced platinum sensing element sits inside an Inconel sheath, giving a stable resistance-temperature relationship that can be characterized with ITS-90 or Callendar-Van Dusen coefficients. They are used with precision readouts as the reference sensor in dry-block calibrators, stirred baths and comparison setups in calibration labs and instrument shops.
