Description
The Druck DPI 842 is a handheld frequency calibrator from the DPI 800 series. It measures and generates frequency and pulse signals from 0.01 Hz to 50 kHz in sine, square or triangle waveforms, and also counts pulses in CPM, CPH and totalizer modes. Instrument technicians use it to test flow meters, speed sensors, frequency converters and counters. It also measures mA, supplies 24 V loop power and reads pressure when connected to an optional IDOS pressure module.
Key features
- Frequency measure and source from 0.01 Hz to 50 kHz
- Sine, square and triangle output waveforms with adjustable amplitude
- CPM, CPH and totalizing counter modes
- mA measurement, switch test and 24 V loop power
- Works with IDOS universal pressure modules
- Backlit display and impact-resistant elastomer protection
Typical applications
- Flow meter and turbine meter testing
- Speed and proximity sensor checks
- Frequency-to-current converter calibration
- Pulse counter and totalizer verification
