Description
The BTO36061 pairs a 3 in bimetal dial with a head-mount transmitter on a 6 in stem. It covers a 50 to 300°F range for local reading and remote signaling from one connection. The Dwyer Series BTO combines a bimetal dial thermometer and a temperature transmitter in a single instrument. A bimetal coil in the stem drives the dial pointer for local reading, while a head-mounted transmitter in a weatherproof housing on the side of the stem sends the signal to a control system. Because only one process connection is needed, the BTO reduces installation cost and panel space. It is used on boilers, compressor skids, and thermal oxidizers.
