Description
The FLIR T530-42 is a professional handheld infrared camera from the T500 series, fitted with a 42° x 32° wide-angle lens (the -42 suffix). Its 320 x 240 microbolometer measures surface temperatures without contact, and a 180° rotating optical block lets the operator view targets above, below or behind obstructions while keeping the screen in a comfortable position. Thermographers, electrical contractors and maintenance teams in power generation, distribution and manufacturing use it for routine condition monitoring and predictive maintenance surveys.
Key features
- 320 x 240 infrared detector (76,800 measurement points) with UltraMax image enhancement in post-processing
- 42° x 32° wide-angle lens suited to inspecting panels and equipment at short working distances
- 180° rotating optical block for overhead and low-angle viewing
- Laser-assisted autofocus for repeatable focus and temperature readings
- MSX image enhancement that overlays visible edge detail on the thermal image
- 4 in. touchscreen, Wi-Fi streaming, GPS tagging and METERLiNK data from compatible FLIR meters
Typical applications
- Electrical switchgear, panel and motor control center inspections
- Predictive maintenance on motors, bearings and rotating equipment
- Substation and distribution equipment surveys
- Process and manufacturing equipment troubleshooting
