Description
The Fluke 117/323 kit gives electricians two complementary instruments in one case. The Fluke 117 handles voltage, resistance, continuity, frequency and capacitance, and adds non-contact voltage detection and a low-impedance AutoV mode that helps avoid misleading ghost-voltage readings. The Fluke 323 clamp meter measures AC current without opening the circuit. Together they cover the everyday checks of residential, commercial and light industrial electrical work, from confirming a dead circuit to checking the load on a branch feeder.
Key features
- Fluke 117 with built-in VoltAlert non-contact voltage detection
- AutoV/LoZ low input impedance mode to reduce false readings from ghost voltage
- Fluke 323 True-rms clamp for AC current measurement without breaking the circuit
- Min/Max/Average recording on the 117 to track signal changes
- Large white LED backlight on the 117 for dim panels and crawl spaces
- C115 soft case keeps both meters and leads together
Typical applications
- Residential and commercial electrical installation and service
- Checking branch circuit loads and motor current draw
- Verifying de-energized circuits before work
- General troubleshooting of lighting and HVAC control circuits
