Description
The Fluke 437-II/BASIC is the probe-free version of the 437-II three-phase power quality and energy analyzer. It retains the 400 Hz measurement capability used for aircraft, marine and defense electrical systems, along with 50/60 Hz power quality, PowerWave capture and energy loss calculation. Because no current probes are included, it suits avionics maintenance shops and military contractors that already maintain a stock of compatible clamps and want to add another 400 Hz-capable analyzer.
Key features
- 400 Hz measurement capability without the cost of a new probe set
- Analyzes 50/60 Hz systems as well
- PowerWave capture of fast RMS data and waveforms
- Energy loss calculator for active, reactive, unbalance and harmonic power
- Cursor and zoom tools for real-time trend analysis
- No current probes included
Typical applications
- Avionics test benches and aircraft maintenance hangars
- Shipboard and defense 400 Hz power systems
- Adding a 400 Hz-capable unit to an existing probe inventory
- Generator and frequency converter testing
