Description
The Fluke 710 is a precision mA loop calibrator with built-in HART communication and valve test routines for HART smart control valves. It sources a 4 to 20 mA signal to move the valve while reading the valve’s HART position and pressure feedback, then reports whether the valve is in good, marginal or poor condition. Instrument and maintenance technicians in process plants use it to check valve performance, decide on maintenance, and also carry out general loop calibration tasks.
Key features
- Built-in HART communication for position and pressure feedback
- Preset valve tests: manual, ramp, step, speed, bump and partial stroke
- Quick-check results that rate valve condition
- Logged tests can be uploaded to ValveTrack software for trending
- Sources, simulates and measures mA, with 24 V loop power
Typical applications
- HART smart valve diagnostics
- Partial stroke testing in live processes
- 4 to 20 mA loop calibration
- Valve maintenance planning
