Description
The 2506-1529 adds a GPIB port to the 1529, so the readout can join automated calibration setups. The Fluke Calibration 2506-1529 is an IEEE-488 (GPIB) communication option for the 1529 Chub-E4 thermometer readout. It lets the 1529 connect to GPIB-based automated calibration systems alongside other bench instruments. Calibration labs use it when the readout must be controlled by a PC that manages several instruments on one GPIB bus, such as in automated sensor calibration runs. The option is specific to the 1529 and does not change its measurement functions.
