Description
The Hioki IM3523 is a benchtop LCR meter for measuring inductance, capacitance, resistance and related impedance parameters of passive components. Its test frequency spans 40 Hz to 200 kHz, and a fastest measurement time of about 2 ms makes it well suited to automated production lines, where it can measure several parameters under different conditions in one sequence. R&D engineers, incoming inspection teams and component makers use it for capacitor, inductor and transformer evaluation as well as for go/no-go sorting via the comparator and EXT I/O.
Key features
- Test frequency from 40 Hz to 200 kHz
- Basic accuracy of ±0.05% of reading
- Fastest measurement time of approximately 2 ms
- Test signal level adjustable from 5 mV to 5 V
- Continuous measurement under different conditions for multi-parameter tests
- Comparator and BIN sorting with EXT I/O; USB standard, further interfaces optional
Typical applications
- Production line testing of capacitors and inductors
- Incoming inspection of passive components
- Transformer and coil evaluation
- Component characterization in R&D
