Description
The Hioki PW6001-16 is a six-channel precision power analyzer configured with motor analysis and D/A output. It measures voltage, current, power and efficiency across inverters, motors and power conversion stages, with basic power accuracy of ±0.02% for the instrument alone. High common-mode rejection and low temperature drift keep readings stable around switching converters. Engineers in EV, renewable energy and drive development use it to quantify losses, analyze harmonics and evaluate motor torque and speed signals without a separate oscilloscope.
Key features
- Six input channels with 18-bit resolution
- ±0.02% basic power accuracy (instrument only)
- 10 ms data refresh while all channels are calculated simultaneously
- Harmonic analysis up to the 100th order
- Motor analysis inputs for torque, speed and direction
- Two units can be synchronized over optical link for 12 channels
Typical applications
- Inverter and converter efficiency testing
- EV traction motor and drive development
- Solar inverter and power conditioner evaluation
- Transformer and reactor loss measurement
