Hioki RM3543 Resistance Meter

$2,204.00

Four-terminal benchtop resistance meter with 0.01 µΩ resolution for low-resistance testing of shunts and components in automated lines.

Description

The Hioki RM3543 is a benchtop resistance meter that uses the four-terminal constant-current DC method to measure very low resistances, from milliohm-range shunts up to 1200 Ω. With 0.01 µΩ resolution on the 10 mΩ range, it is used in production and inspection of current-sense resistors, busbars, welds and connectors. Contact check, probe short detection and comparator outputs make it suitable for integration into automated test systems, while a settings monitor warns when two paired instruments are configured differently.

Key features

  • Seven ranges from 10 mΩ to 1000 Ω
  • 0.01 µΩ resolution on the lowest range
  • Test current from 1 A dc down to 1 mA dc depending on range
  • Contact check, probe short detection and contact improver
  • Comparator, statistics, offset voltage compensation and retry functions
  • External I/O, RS-232C and printer interfaces (GP-IB on RM3543-01)

Typical applications

  • Current-sense shunt resistor inspection
  • Busbar, weld and crimp resistance testing
  • Low-resistance checks in automated production lines
  • Incoming inspection of chip resistors
