Description
The HD103-A is the 3 kV DC / 2.5 kV AC model of the HD100 series, rated for 5 mA maximum output current and operated from a 120 V, 60 Hz supply. The Hipotronics HD100 series are compact AC/DC dielectric test sets for withstand testing of electrical equipment and insulation. The operator raises the output smoothly from zero to the required test voltage while the set monitors leakage current and trips on overload. A zero-start interlock and a grounding solenoid on the output protect the operator. Maintenance crews, repair shops and production test areas use these sets to prove insulation on motors, cables, switchgear and components.
