Description
The Isotech Pegasus R 970 is a blackbody calibration source used to check and calibrate infrared thermometers and pyrometers from 150 °C up to 1200 °C. Its cavity has an emissivity of 0.995, so the target behaves close to an ideal radiator. An external reference probe and built-in indicator give a traceable cavity temperature, and the furnace can also accept fixed-point cells. It is well matched to handheld and fixed instruments such as the Raytek ST, MX and CI series, and is used by calibration labs and industrial maintenance teams.
