Description
The Baker DX R PDPP 12 is the 12 kV configuration of the DX R analyzer, with partial discharge detection and a power pack interface (PDPP). This combines partial discharge detection with the ability to drive a Baker external power pack. The Megger Baker DX R is a static motor analyzer that tests de-energized motors, generators and coils with both low and high voltage tests in one unit. The R configuration adds low voltage winding resistance measurement to high voltage DC insulation testing and surge testing, which reveals turn-to-turn weakness. DC motors can be tested fully, including bar-to-bar armature tests. Motor shops, utilities and plant maintenance teams use it for acceptance, troubleshooting and predictive maintenance.
