Description
The Ohaus MB90 is a benchtop moisture analyzer that determines moisture content by loss on drying. A sample placed on the 90 mm pan is heated by a halogen lamp while the built-in balance records weight loss, and the result is shown as percent moisture, percent solids or regain. Drying temperature is adjustable from 40 to 200 °C, with manual, timed or automatic end points. Quality control labs in food, plastics, pharmaceuticals and chemicals use it for fast routine moisture checks.
