Description
The XMO2 measures oxygen concentration in process gas streams and is configured by order code for range and calibration. The Panametrics XMO2 is an oxygen transmitter that uses the thermoparamagnetic principle. Oxygen is strongly attracted to a magnetic field, and the sensor detects the resulting gas flow as a change in heat transfer, which is converted into oxygen concentration. With no consumable cell, the sensor is stable over long periods. Process and combustion engineers use the XMO2 to measure oxygen in gas streams for safety, quality and efficiency control.
