Description
The Baker DX RLC 6 pairs 6 kV class surge and hipot testing with RLC measurements for winding analysis. The Megger Baker DX is a static motor analyzer that combines high voltage and low voltage tests in one instrument. Surge, hipot, insulation resistance and step voltage tests show the condition of ground wall and turn-to-turn insulation, while resistance, inductance and capacitance (RLC) tests reveal winding imbalances and connection faults. A touch screen guides the operator and results can be printed via USB. Motor repair shops and plant maintenance teams use it on AC and DC motors, generators and coils.
