Description
The RIGOL DSG5124 is a DSG5000 series microwave signal generator with four phase-coherent output channels covering 9 kHz to 12 GHz. Each channel can be set independently, and the phase relationship between channels can be adjusted in fine steps, which is useful for beamforming, phased array and multi-antenna test. RF engineers in wireless, radar and research labs use it for receiver testing, component characterization and multi-signal setups, with touchscreen control and AM, FM and PM modulation.
Key features
- Four independent, phase-coherent outputs
- Frequency coverage from 9 kHz to 12 GHz
- Adjustable channel-to-channel phase offset
- Low phase noise for receiver and converter tests
- AM, FM, PM and pulse modulation
- Touchscreen operation and remote control
Typical applications
- Phased array and beamforming test
- Multi-channel receiver and MIMO testing
- Radar and EW component characterization
- Local oscillator substitution in research setups
