Description
Part number 721-102-20 is the Eagle 2 configured to monitor hydrogen (H2), range 0-100% volume, using a thermal conductivity sensor. It keeps the Eagle 2 pump, alarms and rugged housing. The RKI Eagle 2 is a portable gas monitor with a built-in sampling pump that draws air from confined spaces, tanks and pipelines before entry or during work. It can be configured with up to six sensors, combining catalytic, infrared, thermal conductivity, electrochemical and PID technologies for combustibles, oxygen and toxic gases. Each part number defines a factory configuration of sensors and ranges. Safety officers, utility crews, refinery staff and environmental technicians use it for leak checks and atmospheric testing.
Key features
- Configurable for up to six gases in one instrument
- Internal sampling pump with low-flow alarm and automatic shut-off
- Auto-ranging combustible readings in ppm, %LEL or %volume, depending on sensor
- Two adjustable alarm levels with buzzer and high-intensity LEDs
- Water and dust resistant, RFI/EMI coated impact-resistant enclosure
- Automatic calibration and single-gas calibration modes
Typical applications
- Confined space entry testing
- Gas leak investigation in utilities and pipelines
- Tank and vessel inerting and purge checks
- Refinery and petrochemical maintenance work
- Environmental and landfill gas surveys
