Description
The RKI Instruments SD-805RID-HEX is a fixed gas detector transmitter for continuous monitoring of combustible or toxic gases in industrial areas. It is housed in an explosion-proof enclosure with IP65 ingress protection. Technicians test and adjust the unit by placing a magnetic key over marked positions on the faceplate, so the housing does not need to be opened in the field. The detector runs on 24 VDC, sends a 4-20 mA signal to controllers or displays, and provides relay contacts for alarms. The target gas is defined by the ordered configuration.
