Description
The Vitrek 4700 is a precision high voltage meter used as a reference for calibrating hipot testers, high-voltage power supplies and insulation resistance testers. Note that it is a voltage measurement instrument, not a flow meter. It offers a basic accuracy of 0.03% on DC and 0.1% true RMS on AC, dual inputs for differential measurements, and a chart mode that documents how a high-voltage source behaves during ramp-up and dwell. Calibration labs and safety test departments use it to verify HV test equipment.
Key features
- Basic accuracy of 0.03% DC and 0.1% true RMS AC
- Color touch screen for selecting and viewing measurements
- Dual inputs for differential or phase-to-phase voltage measurement
- Chart mode storing 300 readings to document drift, ramp time, overshoot and sag
- True RMS AC from 0.01 Hz to 600 Hz with 78 dB AC noise rejection on DC readings
- Ethernet, serial and USB printer ports, with optional GPIB and optional lithium-ion battery pack
Typical applications
- Calibrating hipot and dielectric withstand testers
- Verifying output of high-voltage power supplies
- Checking insulation resistance tester voltages
- VLF cable test set verification
