Description
The 61C applies pressure to the case so it reads absolute pressure directly, without barometric correction; it is offered in nine standard ranges. Wallace & Tiernan precision dial gauges, now offered under WIKA, are test grade analog instruments for laboratory, calibration and production work. Pressure acts on a capsule element for low ranges or a Bourdon tube for higher ranges through a single case connection, and a geared movement drives the pointer over a widely spaced scale. Series 61 gauges read absolute pressure referenced to zero absolute, while Series 62 gauges read gauge pressure. Solid-front construction and tempered glass windows suit test benches and panels.
