Description
The Chroma 11050-30M belongs to Chroma’s 11050 family of high-frequency LCR meters, and this version tests at frequencies up to 30 MHz. It measures inductance, capacitance, resistance, impedance, quality factor, dissipation factor and ESR, which makes it suitable for RF chip inductors, ferrite beads, small-value capacitors and other parts that must be evaluated at their operating frequency. Open and short compensation reduces fixture errors. Component makers, incoming inspection teams and design engineers use it on the bench and in automated test lines.
Key features
- Test frequencies up to 30 MHz
- Seven primary parameters: L, C, R, Z, Q, D and ESR
- Basic measurement accuracy of 0.1%
- Series and parallel equivalent circuit modes
- Open and short correction for fixture compensation
- Remote interface for automated production testing
Typical applications
- Testing RF inductors and chip components
- Incoming inspection of passive components
- Characterizing ferrite cores and beads
- Design verification of high-frequency circuits
