Description
The MP-1786P is a dedicated MegaPulse model: megaPulse surge tester with up to 3 kV on the bulk capacitor and front panel peak voltage meter. These Compliance West MegaPulse generators produce the lightning-surge and impulse waveforms defined in safety and component standards. Models are dedicated to particular waveforms such as 1.2×50 µs, 10×700 µs or combination waves, which keeps setup simple and the test traceable to the standard. Test laboratories, product safety engineers and manufacturers use them to verify insulation, telecom ports, PV panels and printed-wiring spacings.
