Description
In 5622-05-D, “05” denotes the 0.5 mm sheath, the smallest and fastest probe in the 5622 range, and the last letter the termination (5-pin DIN for Tweener thermometers). The Fluke Calibration 5622 fast response PRTs use very small diameter sheaths so the sensor reaches temperature quickly. Time constants can be as short as 0.4 s, which makes them suitable for measuring small objects, thin layers and changing temperatures. The probes use four-wire platinum sensing elements in a 316 stainless steel sheath and cover -200 °C to 350 °C. They are used in research, process studies and calibration work where response speed and small size matter.
