Description
The Hioki PW3390-02 is a four-channel benchtop power analyzer for measuring electrical power from DC up to inverter switching frequencies. It works with Hioki clamp-on and through-type current sensors, which makes it suited to single-phase and three-phase inverter and motor systems. The analyzer calculates efficiency, losses, harmonics and waveform data in parallel and updates results every 50 ms. The -02 version adds a D/A output for feeding analog signals to recorders or control systems. Engineers in EV, renewable energy and drive development use it for efficiency testing.
Key features
- Basic power accuracy of ±0.04% of reading
- Measurement band up to 200 kHz with flat amplitude and phase response
- Four input channels for single-phase and three-phase systems
- Simultaneous calculation of power, efficiency, losses and harmonics
- Synchronized measurement across up to 8 units (32 channels)
- D/A output included on the -02 version
Typical applications
- Inverter and motor efficiency testing
- EV and hybrid drivetrain development
- Solar inverter and power conditioner evaluation
- Transformer and reactor loss measurement
